I had a friend. She was sweet and beautiful. She was beautiful, but not like those girls in magazines; she wasn’t just beautiful for her looks.

I loved to watch the excitement in her eyes. They sparkled. They changed colors when she got excited. I remember many times staying up all night talking. Her gentle touch was amazing!

The conversations always moved from one subject to the next, rapidly. Her mind was clear and bright, and so amazingly curious. We never argued. Eventually one of us genuinely saw the other’s point of view. …

That's sweet and I thank you!

I met my first post-covid woman this week. It was a

bizarre experience. I am really interested BUT I knew i lost my mojo so I kept it

brief. I've had a week to build my confidence and will see her again this week. OMG, i feel like an eight grade kid all over again!

Thanks! It still remains one of my personal favorites.

One word sums it up for me "confidence." When I was my most confident I was my most sexy. When a woman oozes confidence we cannot resist. Gonna have to get that post Covid mojo back somehow!

The sign at the side of the road said “FOR SALE PUPPIES” in a hardly readable script. We had been talking about getting another puppy to replace our irreplaceable little Boston Terrier, Buddy. We thought the kids should have a puppy.

As I pulled into the yard I saw a well-kept two-story home with beautiful flowers and an incredibly huge garden. No one was around. No one greeted me. I climbed the steps to the home and knocked on the door. No one answered.

I decided to check out the barn. In there I found a short, stocky lady dressed…

What we write and what we live sometimes become clouded.

I’m not sure when it started. Maybe about two months ago maybe longer, I’m really not sure. It started, when the love of my life, the woman who vowed she couldn’t spend one minute in life without me walked out of my life. The women that spoke of forever. Now spoke nothing.

At first, I just wrote about her. Writing has been my go-to whenever life’s stressors become too much. The time the Dr. said the four-letter word-cancer. The time I thoroughly got the crap beat out of me up NYC way. The day my dog died. …

I write poetry.

I write poetry about how I love her

I write poetry about the way she smells so sweet

I write about the way her eyes sparkle and change color

I write about her soft touch and her gentile caring

I write about how she loves so generously

I write about when I see her enter a room my heart still jumps a beat

I write about the way I watch her sleep

I write about how she cares for every little helpless animal

I write about how she nurses everyone’s wounds

I write about how our children are blessed to…
